About the Role

An Account Director at Clariquant is responsible for managing key client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of AI-driven solutions, and driving business growth within existing accounts. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, advising them on how AI solutions can solve their business challenges, and coordinating with internal teams (e.g., product, engineering, data science) to ensure successful implementation. The Account Director is also responsible for expanding client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service to foster long-term, strategic partnerships.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong, trusted relationships by understanding their business goals and aligning AI solutions to meet their needs.


Business Growth & Upselling: Identify opportunities for account expansion, upsell new AI solutions, and drive revenue growth within existing client relationships.


Project Oversight: Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to ensure that AI solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet client expectations.


Strategic Consulting: Provide strategic guidance to clients on how AI technologies can solve complex business challenges, improve efficiencies, or drive innovation.


Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, regular check-ins, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.


Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation of contracts and service agreements, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and pricing.


Performance Reporting: Track and report on account performance, providing regular updates to clients and senior leadership on key metrics and progress.


Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, engineering) to ensure the smooth delivery and scaling of AI solutions, from pre-sales to post-sales support.


Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in account management or client-facing roles, ideally within the technology or AI industry.

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their business applications, with the ability to translate complex AI solutions into clear value propositions for clients.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and resolving challenges.

  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, product, engineering, customer success) to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

  • A track record of driving revenue growth, managing large accounts, and developing long-term, strategic client relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A background in AI or technology-related fields is a plus.
